"Three islands were constructed during the winter of 1995-1996 in the northeast corner of Hamilton Harbour, Lake Ontario, Canada. One of the purposes of the islands was to provide secure nesting habitat in Hamilton Harbour for six species of colonial waterbirds: Double-crested Cormorants, Black-crowned Night-Herons, Herring Gulls, Ring-billed Gulls, Caspian Terns and Common Terns"--Abstract.
