"On 22 March 2018, the House of Commons Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics (the Committee) adopted a motion to conduct a study on the breach of personal information involving Cambridge Analytica and Facebook. To date, the Committee has held nine public meetings on the subject between 27 March and 12 June 2018 during which it heard 16 witnesses, some of whom appeared twice.
