The 2018-19 Main Estimates were tabled in the Senate on April 17, 2018 and referred to the Standing Senate on National Finance for review on April 18, 2018. In order to examine the 2018-19 Main Estimates, our committee held seven meetings and questioned officials of fifteen federal organizations that are requesting total voted appropriations of approximately $69 billion, which is 61% of the total voted amount requested in the main estimates. We also met with officials from the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer.
