"Movements and distribution of the Beverly herd of barren-ground caribou (Rangifer tarandus groenlandicus) were monitored intensively each winter from 1982-83 through 1986-87 and sporadically in other years since 1979-80. Caribou in the main concentration typically entered the forest from mid October to mid November and departed it from mid March to mid April"--Summary.
