"As a connecting waterway of the Great Lakes, many species of wildlife depend on the abundant resources of the Niagara River and its watershed for survival. This report examines the current status, trends and distributions of aquatic populations of colonial waterbirds, waterfowl, birds of prey, amphibians, reptiles and fish-eating mammals, such as mink and otter, on the Canadian side of the Niagara River and its watershed in Ontario.
