"Local ecological knowledge on Ivory Gulls was collected from 94 residents in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Ivory Gull was most commonly known as an 'Ice Partridge' and was usually observed between September and May (Fall through Spring) while seal hunting or in community harbours"--Abstract.
