Weight tables for important tree species in the Northwest Territories / [T. Singh]. : Fo29-2/27-1984E-PDF
"Foresters use volume tables to estimate the volume of the usable portion of forest trees. The unused tree parts left as residues are now gaining recognition as a potential source of energy. As the bulk of such residues may be from nonstem components, it is difficult to measure and present their quantities in volumetric units. Ovendry weight is the universally adopted measurement for quantifying forest biomass of all components"--P. [1].
