"During the period May 2 to June 7, 1953, limnological investigations were carried out in Prince Albert National Park, Saskatchewan, to obtain information on the population of northern pike (Esox lucius) in Lake Waskesiu. Particular attention was paid to spawning and the effect of beaver colonies on the migration of pike at spawning time"--Introduction.
