"The Water Survey's Equipment Calibration and Development Unit in Calgary recently obtained a low temperature chamber for its laboratory. Using this cold chamber, it is now possible to simulate the extreme low temperatures which the equipment will encounter in the far north and, in this way, determine how best to service the equipment to provide satisfactory uninterrupted operation. This report describes the methods and results of low temperature tests on automatic water storage recording equipment used by the Water Survey of Canada"--Preface, p. v.
