"This study measures farm income instability on the Prairies by examining gaps that appear in the general upward trend. Preliminary results indicate that incomes in Saskatchewan are more unstable than in other provinces, and that the price of wheat has grown less stable since the Second World War, unlike the other farm variables examined"--Abstract, p. iii.
