520 |aThe first report describes the village of Queenston, Upper Canada, which was the scene of the second major American invasion of British territory in the War of 1812. The second study describes Fort George which was built between 1796 and 1799 and subsequently served as British military headquarters in Upper Canada. The third study describes how on 26 October 1813, on the banks of the Châteauguay River some 30 miles south of Montreal, an engagement was fought between the lead elements of an invading American army and a smaller Canadian force under British command.
