"The World Forestry Information Group, as part of the Canadian Forestry Service's International Forestry Branch, has collected, in the course of its work, a considerable volume of literature on forest resource data, forest development, and forest management in other countries. It was decided to summarize into reports the forestry information on several countries where the forest resource plays a significant role in the national economy.
