For some scenarios, long passive radiation measurements at short distances can be considered as an option for the detection of SNM devices. In this document, techniques developed to simulate the emission, propagation and detection of photon radiation from SNM are investigated, using a ThermoTM RadEyeTM GN+ non-spectroscopic detector sensitive to both photons and neutrons.
