"There are eleven large dairy plants in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia, five of which were studied in this report. This study was carried out in order to gather information on the characteristics of the wastewater generated by dairy operations. The information obtained will be useful in developing regulations and guidelines pertaining to the wastewater discharges from all dairy operations in Canada"--Introd.
