"Stormwater runoff is the major source of effluent discharge from petroleum bulk terminals. The major pollutants associated with these operations are oil and grease and sometimes suspended solids. This report addresses several aspects of stormwater management at these facilities including treatment technologies, operating procedures, sampling and analytical procedures, and monitoring devices. It is based on a literature review, and several site visits conducted to document current practices. Recommendations are presented"--Abstract.
