More data relating the fire weather index to the 500mb heights / Vello Puss, meteorologist. : En57-44/80-018E-PDF

"During the 1979 fire season, investigations were conducted on variations in the calculated Fire Weather Index (FWI). Some of the results were published in Pacific Region Technical Notes (PRTN) 79-033. It was shown that the FWI at Abbotsford could be related in some way to the 500mb height over southwestern B.C. The current paper deals with similar data for Abbotsford, Kelowna, Prince George and Terrace."
