"STREX refers to the Storm Transfer and Response Experiment conducted jointly by Canada and the United States. The primary reason is to explore the interaction between the atmosphere and ocean during the development of storms over the Pacific. The PWC study as concerned with the evaluation of drifting buot data over the northeast Pacific for use in the operational forecast office. This note is a summary of the results and conclusions."
