"This independent assurance report was prepared by the Office of the Auditor General of Canada on the processing of in-Canada asylum claims. Our responsibility was to provide objective information, advice, and assurance to assist Parliament in its scrutiny of the government's management of resources and programs, and to conclude on whether the Canada Border Services Agency; Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada; and the Immigration and Refugee Board of Canada complied in all significant respects with the applicable criteria and processed claims in an efficient and timely manner"--About the audit, page 16.
