"In this paper, the practical difficulty of establishing quasi-uniform flow conditions in sediment transport flumes is elucidated and a new method to overcome this difficulty is put forward. Experiments conducted according to the new method are compared with existing measurements as well as existing equations of sediment transport rate and friction factor of mobile boundary flows"--Summary.
