The use of short packer spacings to characterize hydraulically open fractures in the Lockport formation, Niagara Falls, New York / by P.A. Lapcevic and K.S. Novakowski. : En13-5/89-144E-PDF
"Two boreholes which were drilled in Niagara Falls, New York, were used to examine the nature of fracturing and fracture permeability in flat-lying sedimentary rock. The boreholes were drilled in the vertical orientation, through the entire length of the Lockport formation, a highly permeable Silurian dolostone. The study was conducted in cooperation with the U.S. Geological Survey as part of their ongoing study of the regional groundwater flow system in the Niagara Falls, New York region"--Abstract.
