"Analytical methodology for polychlorinated dioxins and furans (PCDDs & PCDFs) in pulp and paper related matrices is not standardized. Many variations exist for the extraction, cleanup, quantitation and confirmation of these compounds and reported detection limits and recoveries vary over several orders of magnitude. Elements included in this method have been taken from a variety of sources as identified in the reference section"--Abstract.
