Characterization of groundwater contaminants at Elmira, Ontario, by thermal desorption, solvent extraction GC-MS and HPLC / by S. Lesage, J.K. Ritch and E.J. Treciokas. : En13-5/89-155E-PDF
"Contaminated groundwater samples were characterized using on-line thermal desorption GC-MS analysis. The results were compared with conventional solvent extraction followed by GC-MS. Thermal desorption gave similar results for most compounds and was found to be superior for the analysis of water-miscible compounds. HPLC with a diode-array detector was used to measure phenol in the presence of large quantities of aniline"--Abstract.
