"Shrimp biomass, distribution and stock composition from research and commercial data for 1980 were compared to previous years to determine the status of the resources. Relative biomass and catch per unit effort appeared stable between 1979 and 1980 for the Hopedale and Cartwright Channels and catch rate indices indicated possible declines in abundance to approximately 50% of the original level."--Abstract.
