CAD/CAM and Canada. : Id31-92/1977E-PDF

"Recent advances in computer technology have permitted the capabilities of the computer to be economically applied to design applications and to the operation sequencing and control of production equipment in discrete parts manufacturing. In order to encourage wider interest by Canadian industry in the field of computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM), a lumber of Maclean-Hunter publications, mainly Canadian Machinery and Metalworking, with technical guidance and co-operation from the Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce, Ottawa, began a series of articles during 1976 on the "state of the art" of CAD/CAM in Canada and the world. This publication is a selection of articles from this series"--page 1.
