"This summary document is the first in a series of Science Summary Sheets in preparation with the goal of communicating the scientific work undertaken by Environment and Climate Change Canada and its partners to inform the recovery of the Boreal population of Woodland Caribou (Rangifer tarandus caribou) in Canada. The summary outlines the results of a national meta-analysis that investigated the relationship between calf recruitment and a range of predictor variables hypothesized to influence boreal caribou population dynamics as part of the 2011 Scientific Assessment.
