"This is the fifth edition of CAN/CGSB-43.151, Packaging, handling, offering for transport and transport of Explosives (Class 1). It supersedes the previous edition published in 2012. The standard was updated in order to maintain consistency with and to incorporate language from other CGSB and Transport Canada publications that pertain to the Transportation of Dangerous Goods Regulations (TDG Regulations). This was done in order to facilitate compatibility with the other TDG standards referenced in the TDG Regulations. This standard is intended for incorporation by reference into the TDG Regulations. Where there are differences between the requirements of the TDG Regulations and this standard, the TDG Regulations prevail, unless specified otherwise, to the extent of the difference"--Introduction, page iii.
