"The National Water Research Institute (NWRJ) has been requested by the Water Technology International (WTI) Corporation (further referred to as the client) to assess flow capacity and outflow zone velocity field in a plate clarifier shown in Fig.1. This clarifier was supplied and installed by the client in the Hydraulics Laboratory of the NWRI. After connecting the plate clarifier to the laboratory water supply system and arranging for clarifier discharge to the laboratory trench system, hydraulic testing started"--Introduction, page 1.
