"This paper documents an attempt to evaluate the food biomass consumed by the cod population inhabiting the southern Gulf of St. Lawrence (NAFO Subarea 4T) during 1978 … Results are discussed in the light of knowledge concerning this ecosystem. Further application possibilities of the physiological approach for examining properties of marine ecosystems are discussed."--Abstract.
