520 |a"In response to requests made by Water Quality Branch, Western and Northern Region, and the National Water Quality Laboratory, an improved method was developed for the determination of 13 acidic herbicides in water. The major source of interference in the existing procedure was identified and a cleanup step was included to alleviate the problem. The new method significantly decreases the number of false identifications and thereby reduces the workload of the mass spectrometer for confirmation purposes.
