Physical processes of pollutant transport in the aquatic environment / by Y.L. Lau. : En13-5/90-159E-PDF

"An introduction into the various physical mechanisms which govern the transport of material in the aquatic environment is given. These processes are shown to be part of the mass conservation equation which is used for the analysis of mixing problems. Special considerations for different environments such as rivers, lakes and estuaries are described. The role of sediments in contaminant transport is briefly discussed"--Abstract.
