"The purpose of this study was as follows:1 - To determine the transmission quality of a 5.72 Mbits/sec teletext signal on a cable television system considering the various types of systems encountered. 2 - In instances where reception is marginal, to identify the limiting factors causing these reception problems. For example: multiple echos, AML links, the number of cascaded amplifiers, etc. 3 - To make recommendations to solve any problems identified"--Introduction, page 1.
