"A baseline study was undertaken by the Environmental Protection Service of the watershed near Venus mine (site of a former mining and milling operation) in the Yukon, and Venus mill in British Columbia in 1980 before their planned development and start of operation in June 1981. Water quality parameters, bottom fauna characteristics and sediment quality were documented and evaluated at twenty-three sampling stations"--Abstract, page i.
