Compared with a target deposition rate of 2.4 eggs/m2 (Elson 1975), Terra Nova River was shown to be underseeded. Deposition rates obtained for Middle Brook, Northeast River and Salmon Brook (to a lesser extent) greatly exceeded 2.4 eggs/m2.
