"The acidity of coastal precipitation will not be determined solely by its sulphur content, but instead by all the ions that contribute to its acid-base chemistry. The pH of precipitation is not, by itself, sufficient to characterize the acid-base components of the precipitation as discussed in this report"--Executive summary.
