"The Eighth Assembly of Environmental Councils of Canada was held in Hull, Quebec and Ottawa, Ontario on June 5-6-7, 1983. The Assembly was hosted by the Canadian Environmental Advisory Council. All operational environment councils were represented at the Assembly. Provinces and territories which did not have formally constituted councils were invited to send an observer. The Yukon, British Columbia, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland were not represented in either a delegate or observer capacity"--Introduction.
