5203 |a"Recent landings and the market value of Atlantic halibut have increased considerably, prompting this first assessment of halibut separate from, the rest of the 4VWX flatfish. Due to an absence of commercial fishery samples, it is not yet feasible to undertake a detailed stock assessment.
