"The St. Mary's River is the largest producer of sport-caught Atlantic salmon in eastern Nova Scotia. Evidence that a small, high-profile 3SW virgin component of the stock has diminished relative to the 1SW component has contributed to increased protection for MSW salmon and a need to determine target spawning escapements and stock status"--Abstract.
