"The main characteristics of international pollution are examined as a basis for a discussion of the role of international law in pollution control. The analysis concentrates on atmospheric pollution, water pollution and pollution which arises from manufactured goods, especially those produced by multinational corporations. It is concluded that many acute forms of pollution are likely to be tackled at the national level, with international action as a supplement"--Abstract.
