By strengthening their cooperation, the two countries are promoting the rapid implementation of the Paris Agreement and responding to the challenge of climate change. Canada and France are advancing their Enhanced Cooperation Agenda with different initiatives including green government procurement; the acceleration of the adoption of energy efficiency policies, programs and practices; and carbon pricing.
