"By order of the Canadian Tourism Commission from Ottawa, in the autumn of 1999, IPK International was to prepare a study of selected basic data on the Scandinavian outbound travel market. The study, encompassing the four northern European countries of Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway, was conducted with the purpose of attaining three goals: General overview of the 1998 Scandinavian outbound travel market; General overview of Scandinavian travel to Canada during 1998; Analysis of the development of the Scandinavian Canadian travel demand during the last eight years (1991-1998)"--Objectives of the study.
