"The Audit of Overtime at Correctional Service Canada (CSC) was conducted as part of the 2013- 2016 Risk-Based Audit Plan. The audit links to CSC priorities of “efficient and effective management practices that reflect values-based leadership” and the “safety and security of staff and offenders in our institutions and in the community”. The use of overtime also relates to CSC’s Human Resource Strategic Plan and CSC’s ability to plan and manage staff levels across the organization"--Executive summary, page iv.
