Sex role imagery in children : social origins of mind / prepared by: Ronald D. Lambert, Associate Professor of Sociology and Psychology, University of Waterloo. : Z1-1967/1-1-6E-PDF
"The concern of this report is quite simple and quite straightforward. We hope to shed some light on the question: Where do people, especially children, "get" their ideas about sex roles? By sex roles, we are not referring to sex in the biological or reproductive sense. We are interested in what it means psychologically and socially to be a man or a woman, a boy or a girl. This is a study of the images people have of the sexes and where these images come from"--Chapter 1, page 1.
