Caring contexts of rural seniors : a case study of diversity among older adults in rural communities : phase III : technical report / by Jacquie Eales, Norah Keating, Julia Rozanova, Angela Bardick, Jennifer... : V32-430/3-2006E-PDF

"This report presents findings from Phase III of a three-year research program funded by Veterans Affairs Canada (VAC), to investigate the question, “Is rural Canada a good place to grow old?” There has been limited research that has considered diversity among older people and rural communities and the interplay among individual and community factors in supporting them. This phase of the program was a case study designed to explore the nature of diversity among rural older adults and the ways in which contexts matter to their experiences of supportiveness"--Executive summary, page 1.
