"This report attempts to outline some of the problems relating to climate and to suggest what might be done using available information. Press clippings and quotations are used to show the social and economic importance of climate. This is followed by a report on the climate-man relationships. The changes affected by man within society, the economy and the environment are shown to be of major importance and ways of reducing related losses and optimizing on beneficial climates are suspected. Finally, aspects of climate change are presented in an appendix for those who'wïsh a deeper appreciation of climatic theory"--page 2.
