"The Rabbitkettle Hotsprings have been recognized as one of the unique natural features of Nahanni National Park. Because of its uniqueness and relatively easy access from the river, increased visitor use of the area is expected. The interim management guidelines for the Park identifies Rabbitkettle Lake as the upstream departure point for travellers into the Park. The purpose of this study is to assess the present environmental conditions of the area, and to assess the potential impact of increasing visitor use, including aircraft on Rabbitkettle Lake"--Objectives, page xv.
