"This report reviews some social and economic barriers obstructing efforts to save energy, offering suggestions on how they might be reduced through enhancing credibility and flow of information. Attention is given to economically advantageous conservation measures that can be implemented quickly with few adverse effects. Introduction of new technology is discussed with particular reference to renewable resources and the need for tighter management of demonstration projects"--Absttract.
