"The pandemic has impacted all Canadians and all communities across the country. Visible minorities in particular are likely to work in industries impacted the hardest by the pandemic, such as accommodation and food services. The April Labour Force Survey (LFS) found that the unemployment rate of populations designated as visible minorities was 9.9%, but was 7.6% for all other Canadians who were not Indigenous or a visible minority"--Page [1].
