"DND continues to work hard to resolve civilian pay issues. The backlog of unresolved issues is decreasing, and the capacity of the compensation team is increasing. Improvement is required in the areas of timely submission and approval of Section 34 pay transactions. Additional guidance, support and training will help employees and managers execute their pay-related duties"--Overall assessment, page iii.
