It is founded upon principles of the Parks Canada Agency (PCA) that emphasize long term sustainability, cross-functional delivery, and a nationally consistent approach to fire management. … The primary mandate of the protection of the public and infrastructure from the negative effects of wildfire are addressed in this plan through clearly defined minimum resourcing levels, preparedness guidelines and wildland fire zoning.
