In 45% of the cases in which a compound had a measurable concentration in either the surface microlayer or subsurface water, or both, there was significant enrichment in surface microlayer concentration relative to subsurface water concentration; heptachlor epoxide, a-endosulfan and total PCB were concentrated by factors of up to at least 225"--Abstract.</marc:subfield>
